Abstract

The following proposal is presented from the approach of activating natural spaces, which have attractions that can develop tourist activities, products or services. In this case, the natural attraction of Piedra de Huixtla is analyzed, an attraction made up of a monolith, a stone of volcanic origin, large and unique. Due to its characteristics, there is no other natural space that can be found in the state of Chiapas, it has even been compared to the tourist attraction of Peña de Bernal, located in the state of Querétaro, however, the differences are very notable. As it is an outdoor space, activities can be generated so that, in a slow, responsible and consistent manner, the local offer is produced, at a regional and state level, a projection that could be developed and started during the year 2024. Next, the proposal is made, with various perspectives, as well as the analysis of the current situation of the attractiveness, drawbacks and potential that tourism has to develop in the form of adventure and rural tourism, due to the geographical context in which it is located.
