Resumen
Desde su creación formal, la inteligencia artificial (IA) ha tenido un desarrollo notable hasta llegar a ser una herramienta esencial para las organizaciones. Este artículo examina los acontecimientos históricos más relevantes en el desarrollo de la IA, su incorporación gradual en el sector corporativo y su efecto en la modificación de procesos, en la adopción de decisiones estratégicas y en la generación de nuevos modelos empresariales. También se examinan los desafíos regulatorios y éticos que supone su implementación, además de las posibilidades que brinda para la innovación y la competitividad en el ámbito empresarial. Se busca brindar una perspectiva integral sobre cómo ha evolucionado la IA en las compañías, poniendo de relieve las consecuencias presentes y futuras que tiene su implementación.
