Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has evolved significantly from its early conceptualizations to becoming an indispensable tool for businesses. This paper examines key historical milestones in AI development, its progressive integration into the business realm, and its impact on process transformation, strategic decision-making, and the creation of new business models. Furthermore, the ethical and regulatory challenges of its implementation are discussed, along with the opportunities it offers for innovation and business competitiveness. The objective is to provide a comprehensive view of AI evolution in companies, highlighting the current and future implications of its adoption.
