Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an essential component in modern business management, seeking to balance economic objectives with social and environmental responsibilities. The objective of this work is to evaluate the small and medium enterprises CONSYBA SURL, a Cuban company dedicated to construction, transportation, gastronomy and ice cream production. To carry out the diagnosis of CSR, methods were used in a theoretical order such as Historical Logic, and empirical techniques such as interviews and surveys with managers and workers. As a result of the research, it was demonstrated that the CONSYBA SURL has as its environmental impact the implementation of clean technologies and waste recycling and areas of improvement in the reduction of polluting emissions were identified. It was also found that the working conditions are adequate and that the company also has a social and community impact as it actively participates in the community through donations and sponsorship of educational institutions, which demonstrates a solid commitment to CSR.
