Algorithmic mediation in the training of political cadres: Cognitive destructuring and conscious technological practice in the cuban context

Abstract

The spontaneous incorporation of generative artificial intelligence systems into the training processes of political cadres in Cuba poses epistemological challenges of the first order. This article critically examines how the uncritical use of algorithmic mediations by reserve cadres of political and mass organizations in Las Tunas province induces a process of cognitive destructuring of conscious direction. Based on an experimental comparative analysis study with 17 reservists from the XLIX Edition of the Political Cadre Reserve Training, five fundamental manifestations of this phenomenon are documented: externalization of central cognitive functions, displacement of knowledge validation criteria, erosion of tacit territorial knowledge, emergence of algorithmic epistemic authority, and discursive homogenization. Faced with this problem, the Dialectical Method by Epistemic Simulation (MDSE) is proposed as a matrix of political rationality for a conscious technological praxis, articulated with ideality guidelines oriented to the training of cadres at the Provincial School of the PCC "Jesús Suárez Gayol." The research contributes to the development of a socialist political epistemology for the algorithmic age, anchored in the Marxist tradition and Cuban thought.
