Abstract

The teaching of mathematics at the primary level is of great importance for everyone, every day that passes in our lives we are immersed in numbers and problem solving, as is the case with fractions and decimal numbers. At present, primary school students learn these terms by commitment, rather than by appropriating the procedures and importance of these contents. In some cases this is due to the interest they have in the school and in the same way the interest that the teacher responsible for the group applies to the explanation of said topics. For this reason, in the present investigation that was carried out, it is reported how these terms and these contents have accompanied us over the years and a possible solution at the primary level to address these through a playful strategy that captures the attention of students and In this way, the importance of fractional numbers and decimal numbers is valued.
