Currently, students face multiple negative incitements, be it from friends, family, social networks, and society itself. Thus, finding themselves in a defenseless situation, leading them to make wrong decisions, such as the use of drugs. The use and abuse of drugs are a health problem that can affect anyone regardless of age or sex, but adolescents and young people are the most vulnerable to developing abuse and addiction, because of which in these stages there is a search for autonomy and personal identity to acquire their own independence. In this research, Erik Erikson's Theory of Psychosocial Development and Albert Bandura's Sociocognitive Theory were taken up again. Hence, the school, the family and society are the basis that must oversee preventive action, so teachers have a fundamental role and must have the necessary knowledge to be able to make the necessary changes in students, to Motivate them to lead a healthy life through meaningful learning. The objective of the research was to diagnose the impact of the teacher, to prevent drug addiction in students of an IES, through a healthy life. The approach was mixed, through the survey technique, making use of the questionnaire instrument applied to students of the institution under study during the year 2022.
