Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which began in early 2020, not only radically altered everyday life, but also caused unprecedented change in education. Educational institutions around the world were forced to close their physical doors and rapidly migrate to online teaching modalities. This sudden change not only challenged the technological capabilities of schools and universities, but also tested the socio-emotional skills of both students and teachers, as well as the pedagogical competencies necessary to manage this new reality.
