Entrepreneurship is recognized as one of the main drivers of the development of countries' economies. Therefore, through the establishment of various actions, governments have sought to promote the growth of entrepreneurial activity as an alternative for labor market insertion, which contributes to solving the demand for employment, improving productivity, promoting innovation and, of course, having an impact on the economy. Since the last decade, young university students have had the uncertainty of obtaining a formal job with a competitive salary, which is why entrepreneurship has increased significantly. Given this situation, it is necessary to develop mechanisms that promote self-employment and entrepreneurship as forms of insertion in the labor market. Within this framework, the present research sought to identify those factors that favor a positive development and those that generate obstacles or are negative factors of an entrepreneurship project within university education. Several positive and negative factors that influence the development of university enterprises were identified, giving rise to further research on the nature of these projects in order to more accurately delimit the characteristics of those projects that transcend beyond the classroom.
