The role of universities in training professionals for the knowledge economy and organizational competitiveness in Latin America

Latin American universities play a fundamental role in training professionals suitable for the knowledge economy and organizational competitiveness. It is crucial that these institutions promote critical thinking, effective communication, proficiency in ICT, deep knowledge in specific areas, and ethical values. To achieve this, they must implement innovative methodologies, strengthen ties with the productive sector, foster internationalization, promote research, and continuously update the curriculum. In this way, universities can contribute to the development of a workforce prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
