Abstract

Business management consists of the ability of managers to organize, plan, control, direct, and manage all of an organization's resources, with the goal of achieving its objectives, remaining competitive, and achieving success. It is of utmost importance within business management, since proper functioning depends on the proper management, distribution, and use of resources. Furthermore, business management can generate a sense of camaraderie and establish relationships of trust among all employees, whether for planning activities or listening to suggestions from all workers. Business management in microenterprises in the Frailesca region of Chiapas will help design goals and establish strategies for the proper development and growth of the company, playing an important role in their activities and actions to structure the improvement of the care and attention of their organization. Over time, microenterprises have understood that it is not enough to simply supply products of good quality and price, but also to guarantee good delivery times, ease and simplification of ordering processes, supplies, and guarantees for their customers. Microenterprises constantly struggle to gain greater recognition from their customers and achieve a stronger market position compared to their competitors. The study focus is on one of the municipalities in the Frailesca region, as it is the largest in the area and is home to many microenterprises of various types. Therefore, this geographic area will be the object of study. In the city of Villa Corzo, microenterprises struggle daily for survival, being affected by internal and external situations, including a lack of development opportunities and outdated public policies that do not contribute to their development, limited access to financing and very high interest rates, a lack of government programs that support regional development, and organized crime that threatens their assets and those of their owners.
