Abstract

The growth of e-commerce in recent years, driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, has forced local companies and businesses to adopt recent sales and distribution strategies. In this context, omnichannel distribution networks emerged as a solution to meet market demands and generate competitive advantages. This research analyzes the importance of integrating omnichannel networks into the e-commerce supply chain, highlighting their impact on logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. The objective is to explain how an omnichannel supply chain is built, identifying the key areas involved in its development and optimization. Diagrams and case studies will also be presented that exemplify the application of these networks in the Mexican market, demonstrating their contribution to improving delivery times, inventory management, and return policies.
