Abstract
The transition toward production models based on the intensive use of artificial intelligence and information and communication technologies (ICTs) requires constant interaction for knowledge exchange, which is crucial for innovation and competitiveness. In this context, analyzing knowledge networks framed by the principles of systemic competitiveness and innovation ecosystems becomes essential. This paper aims to explore the theoretical relationship between knowledge networks, systemic competitiveness, and innovation ecosystems, suggesting that the cognitive factor precedes innovation and competitiveness. To this end, a theoretical and exploratory study is proposed through a literature review. This framework allows for understanding how systemic competitiveness arises from network-generated learning and knowledge, influencing the formation of innovation ecosystems. The results confirm the viability of this proposal by identifying a theoretical relationship between the three mentioned concepts.
