Abstract

Today more than ever, the activities carried out by human beings and organizations must be sustainable, in such a way that they contribute to the solution of economic, social and environmental problems. In this sense, in September 2015, the United Nations General Assembly established the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, considering 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with the aim of improving the living conditions of people and protecting our planet, in an environment of prosperity, peace and justice, contributing to the eradication of poverty and the preservation of the environment, within a framework of sustainable development, maintaining a balance in social, economic and environmental aspects. It is necessary that organizations include in their strategic framework activities that contribute to economic, social and environmental sustainability, through the implementation of objectives and strategies, where sustainable practices are considered in their strategy and therefore in the processes carried out. Therefore, it is important that these practices are present in each of the activities carried out by the company, both in the internal and external environment. The objective of this work is to review the sustainability strategies of a company in the industry sector listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange, through a documentary review of the sustainability reports for the last reported year and to identify the results and impact of their implementation.
