Abstract

The financing of activities in science, technology, and innovation in Colombia with the support of the State has increased in the years 2017 to 2020. This research contributes to the understanding of public aid given in industries, based on the resources and capacities held by organizations, to produce innovative results. The methodology used is quantitative, descriptive, and based on the analysis of academic and scientific documents. The results allow demonstrate the innovative effects of public aid in the acquisition of science and technology activities in Colombia and the role played by industries in achieving innovative results in the industrial sector by 2020. It is also evidenced in the different countries of emerging economies, that participation and sustainability in international markets test the productive and competitive capacity of the public and private sectors. The factors that respond to the satisfaction of the needs of the Nation, through the stimulation of economic and social progress through research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) activities, are carried out in environments that improve the training of human resources for the technology and innovation centers (TIC), the participation of the country and its position worldwide in technological development, scientific preparation through educational models that have an impact on the work environment. In fact, the scientific culture in the creation of technological and knowledge products includes entrepreneurship, and the delivery of knowledge and technology to promote the ACTI, with the intention of optimizing the country's competitiveness and productive evolution.
