Abstract

Talent refers to the process of developing, attracting and assimilating new members and retaining employees within a company. The focus of talent management is to highlight those who have high potential in the workplace, and in their skill set they are required to have resilient characteristics that are part of the protective factors that are developed through resilience, turning them into a competent person, capable of taking action. Faced with professional adversity. The purpose of this study was to identify the resilience factors of professionals from public institutions in public institutions in the state of Portoviejo, Manabí, Ecuador, who contributed information to this study. Methodology of the process is a type of descriptive analysis using quantitative methods, supported by statistical methods, the results are analyzed through interview techniques and the SV-RES Resilience Scale, a tool that has been scientifically endorsed by its superior. reliability. In this way, the resilience factors that professionals in the state of Portoviejo possess are evidenced by developing a medium-high level of resilience in these factors that constitute the internal and external resources of the individual, concluding that these factors make them capable of acting with effectiveness, projecting an image of professional security, making it clear that they are capable of facing adverse situations, taking a positive position in their lives and changing complex social realities.
