Abstract

The present investigation has as main objective to know the forms of online sale of traditional food products in Chiapas, the population to study is the Frailesca region, it focuses specifically on the use of digital media for the commercialization of traditional food products in said region with the purpose of In order to increase online sales through the use of digital applications that help to promote the sale of traditional foods and thereby increasing family income dedicated to traditional activity. It is intended to give a clear idea of ​​the real situation of this productive sector and the use of technology using technological tools such as digital applications such as Facebook, WhatsApp Messenger, WhatsApp, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram; such applications can be used by them for the purpose of promotion and sales that allow them to change their traditional marketing models. In the results, it indicates the characteristics of the producers who make the traditional food products, the best sellers and the use of the tools used for the sale, promotion and commercialization of the same, as well as the monetary income obtained.
