Abstract

According to Wearesocial and Hootsuite's Digital 2022 study, from 2021 to 2022 alone, internet users increased by 192 million globally, representing an increase of 4%. A relevant aspect of projects marketed through application markets is their potential to scale. In Mexico, the gradual implementation of platforms such as Uber, Rappi and AirBnB has been witnessed, which have helped to educate clients regarding the use of applications to solve problems of daily life. Business innovation originates from various business models, an example are those applications that link with third parties and serve as an intermediary, such as Mercado Libre, Uber and Didi, among others. It is precisely this model that is analyzed for the work that is presented, whose general objective is to determine the level of acceptance of the use of an app to promote maintenance services. The primary information was collected using the survey technique, applied to 142 heads of the household, people between the ages of 18 and 65, located in Mexico City through remote contact via the Internet through the QuestionPro research tool and sampled for convenience. The results show the qualities of the consumer profile, the expected services and the preferred payment methods.
