Abstract

The objective of the article is to present a study about the main challenges that are presented to vocational training in technical and professional education in UrbanoNoris, meeting the demands of the socioeconomic development model and the necessary territorial autonomy, which is given by the limited workforce for agro-industrial activity, an issue that appears as an axis of said development. In this sense, the School of Technical and Vocational Education can contribute a lot, by prioritizing Vocational Training in its training scenarios where knowledge, skills must be present, values and trait of a certain trade, of endogenous belonging, that contributes to energize the contextual development of the municipality. In results presented, they show important ideas and open the need to face challenges that cannot be postponed.
