Abstract
This research aims to carry out a study of the organization of work in the Jesús Feliú Leyva No.1 Tobacco Factory, belonging to the Acopio, Beneficio y Torcido de Tobacco Company (TABACUBA). To carry out this investigation, the General Problem Solving Method was applied in the tobacco rolling position, where non-compliance with the production plan in the month of November 2023 was defined as a professional problem. It was determined that the main causes that affecting the problem are: poor anthropometric design in the tobacco rolling workplace, lack of personnel in the process, poor use of the working day, poor work regulations, exposure to a critical microclimatic zone due to heat, poor safety system. lighting, exposure to high sound pressure levels, poor quality of raw materials. Potential solutions were then projected. Among the techniques used are: Kendall method, bar and pie charts, Ishikawa diagram, OTIDA diagram, checklists, weighted voting and Gantt chart.
