Abstract

In the context of distance learning, both collaborative and cooperative learning face various problems that can affect their effectiveness. Collaborative learning, characterized by its flexible structure and emphasis on the joint construction of knowledge, can face challenges related to coordination and communication between geographically dispersed students. The autonomy required for this approach can be difficult to manage without direct physical interaction. On the other hand, cooperative learning, which depends on defined roles and shared goals, may encounter obstacles in the lack of group cohesion and the need for clear and effective direction in virtual environments.
