Abstract

Learning is a permanent process throughout life, through which we assimilate and interpret information, generate new knowledge and evolve the way we perceive the world. In this sense, it is interesting: Why do I want to learn? To pass an exam, to get a job, to evolve in the way of thinking, etc. This will depend on the need that each human being intends to satisfy. (Velázquez Peña, Ulloa Reyes, & Hernández Mujica, 2009) refer that learning depends on the interests of the learner, however, each individual is unique and learns under their own methods and styles, therefore, aspects such as your mood, your experiences; etc. True learning involves thinking, given this; It is important that the contents presented to students awaken their attention, challenge them to question, want to investigate and debate different points of view; and not to assume what already exists as absolute. Considering that each human being has different abilities, skills and aptitudes, it is necessary to understand that not everyone learns in the same way. There are those who do it through a video, others who perhaps do it through a song, with a reading; or getting involved in the practice. This article carries out an analysis of the learning styles in students of a higher-level institution, through the application of the Learning Style Test (NLP Model).
