Abstract

Nothing can be understood without context. And any analysis of Palestine-Israel that disfigures or ignores historical context cannot understand or analyze. Today more than ever, in the midst of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, it remains necessary to emphasize that everything is a whole... The origin and key explanation: a contemporary Zionist settler colonialism that does not represent Judaism; the state of Israel collaborated with nazism and dictatorships, and was created and maintained through war crimes and crimes against humanity; unlike the case of colonized peoples such as the Palestinians, there is no “right to “self-defense” of occupying powers such as Israel, but rather their obligation to protect the occupied population; an imbalance so abysmal and a double standard so scandalous that it represents “the greatest moral scandal of our time”; October 7, 2023: a before and after in the decolonization of Palestine?
