Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • You must make sure to adapt the text to the TEMPLATE:

  • The submission is original. It has not been previously published or submitted to any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
  • The necessary measures are taken to ensure anonymous evaluation of the work.
  • Whenever possible, URLs for references, preferably DOIs, will be provided. For this purpose, the free tool available is: http://www.crossref.org/simpleTextQuery
  • The text is single-spaced; font size is 12 points; italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in their appropriate places in the text, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author Guidelines, which appear in About the Journal.

EDITORIAL POLICY

The Mañé, Ferrer, and Swartz International Journal of Education and Critical Social Analysis is an international scientific publication published by Servicios Académicos Intercontinentales S.L., which aims to promote critical science for the benefit of a better world through the dissemination of significant research, emancipatory essays, and all writings that generate transformative knowledge. Spanish, Portuguese, and English are accepted, and other languages ​​are accepted if reviewers are found. This publication is published semiannually, although it aims to advance deadlines for the benefit of researchers and academic requirements, as long as the submission of articles and evaluation permit. The publication is managed through the Open Journal System (OJS), a platform for the management and dissemination of open journals. Our journal, your journal, is not responsible for the ideas and opinions expressed in the published works. Full responsibility rests with the authors. All articles received are automatically submitted to the most modern anti-plagiarism software and reviewed, ensuring that the article meets the formal criteria required by the journal. Secondly, the articles are reviewed, ensuring compliance with the journal's standards, relevance, rigor, and originality of the research. Articles that have passed the two previous reviews will be evaluated using a double-blind review system. Based on the external reviewers' report, the article may be accepted, proposed for modifications, or rejected for publication.

PUBLISHING RULES

Texts proposed for publication in this journal must be original (except for authorship information, which states otherwise) and comply with our publication standards. The submission dates for all articles are constant.

The Mañé, Ferrer, and Swartz International Journal of Education and Critical Social Analysis is a multidisciplinary, biannual academic journal edited and published by Servicios Académicos Intercontinentales S.L. It is blind peer-reviewed. Reviewers are blinded to the authorship details, and the reviewers are blinded to the authorship details.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVALUATION PROCESS

- Upon receipt, the submission is checked for compliance with our publication standards, as well as for the overall content and rationale. The submission is subject to the anti-plagiarism program.

- If it complies with the general publication standards, thematic axes, and rationale, the submission is sent for review if it also passes the anti-plagiarism program. If it does not comply with the basic standards, the submission will be notified as soon as the submission has been reviewed. If plagiarism occurs, there is no communication, since those who plagiarize are already aware of it.

- The article will be subject to a general citation review based on APA 7 standards, and an anti-plagiarism program will check that it is not available on other websites, and its originality will be verified.

- Once the article is received by those conducting the review, we will try to minimize the waiting time for all parties. If minor corrections are requested, the request will be sent to the authors via email. Otherwise, the article will be rejected or published. In the case of plagiarism, the person who committed it will not be notified, as they are already aware of the lack of ethics involved. Self-plagiarism is not permitted.

The aim is to publish scientific, critical, original articles that contribute to the scientific knowledge of the community, from an emancipatory, non-continuist perspective.
