Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • El envío no ha sido publicado previamente ni se ha sometido a consideración por ninguna otra revista (o se ha proporcionado una explicación al respecto en los Comentarios al editor/a).
  • El archivo de envío está en formato OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF o WordPerfect.
  • Siempre que sea posible, se proporcionan direcciones URL para las referencias.
  • El texto tiene interlineado sencillo; 12 puntos de tamaño de fuente; se utiliza cursiva en lugar de subrayado (excepto en las direcciones URL); y todas las ilustraciones, figuras y tablas se encuentran colocadas en los lugares del texto apropiados, en vez de al final.
  • El texto se adhiere a los requisitos estilísticos y bibliográficos resumidos en las Directrices del autor/a, que aparecen en Acerca de la revista.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

The articles published in the International Journal of Education and Critical Social Analisis Mañé, Ferrer & Swartz will try to follow the format of IMRAD (Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion). The section of "Literature Review" will be omitted and the review of related literature should be integrated into the "Introduction" section.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission meets all the elements shown below. Submissions from authors who do not comply with these guidelines will not be evaluated.

The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.

URLs are provided for references based on the APA 7 standard.

 The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which appear in About the journal.

Guidelines for Authors

Articles proposed for publication in this journal must be original (except for authorship information to the contrary) and comply with our publication guidelines. Except for information to the contrary, we constantly receive academic articles.

The International Journal of Education and Critical Social Analysis Mañé, Ferrer and Swartz is multidisciplinary, biannual and academic in nature, edited and published by Servicios Académicos Intercontinentales S.L. It is blind peer reviewed. Those who evaluate do not know the data of the authors. For the benefit of all, we aspire to the quarterly publication.

The article is submitted to the following procedure:

- From its reception, compliance with our publication rules is verified, and adjustment of the general content to our guidelines. It is submitted to the anti-plagiarism program.

- If it complies with the general rules of publication, thematic axes and justification, it is sent for review if it also passes the anti-plagiarism program. If it does not comply with the basic rules, it is communicated as soon as it has been ruled. If plagiarism occurs, there is no communication, since those who plagiarize are already aware that they did it.

- The article will be subjected to a general citation review based on the APA 7 standard and an anti-plagiarism program will verify that it is not available on other web pages, and originality will be verified.

 

- Once the article has been received by those who carry out the review, an attempt will be made to limit the waiting times as much as possible for all parties. If you request minor corrections, the request will be sent via email to the authors. Otherwise, it will be rejected or it will be published. In case of plagiarism, nothing will be communicated to the person who carried it out, since they are already aware of the lack of ethics that this implies. Self-plagiarism is not allowed.

It is intended to publish scientific, critical, original articles that contribute to the scientific knowledge of the community, from an emancipatory perspective.
