Self-erasing process is a book published in 2024 by Ediciones Fantasma, within the collection “Poetry by other means”. This book asks about the hidden meaning of the hegemonic discourses of current thought. Hence, each poem in the book becomes an urgent inquiry into the possibilities and concrete problems of a loss of sovereignty that affects us all. Personal as all poetry is, the reading trajectory proposed by this volume attests to the vicissitudes of an identity transformation that never forgets the problematic links that the subject maintains with the world. Its author, Elena Pedrosa, reflects on the complex network of emptiness inherent to human existence, putting them in relation to the new model of reality. Void of waiting that becomes an image of the loss of life experience. Void of consciousness equivalent to that of the soul. Void of words as the last means to resist.
