The objective of the research is to understand the economic factors that have an impact on the completion rate of secondary school students in Mexico during the period 2000-2023. The methodology used is quantitative with secondary data from 2000 to 2023, analyzed using multiple regression. The findings show evidence that economic inequality has a positive impact on secondary school completion rates, while income per capita has a positive influence. These results could help government policy makers to drive education policy.
