Abstract

Gaza's universities have always been a target of the Israeli army.  Nevertheless, since October 2023 the destruction has been total. We write about the destruction of Gaza's universities, and how -despite the immense shortcomings- Gaza's Higher Education System continues providing knowledge, and overcome challenges, where there was only desolation. They have taught online classes in the absence of buildings, and they have organized themselves as much as possible to continue doing science and research in a war crime situation. A whole life lesson, of resilience that challenges our universities and the rest of the world, showing the importance of building links and alliances, moving forward together to build a better world.
